With over 30 years of design experience, TKA is a team of dedicated designers, creative problem solvers, and experienced collaborators who work closely with clients to improve the communities we call home.
What we value
Architecture is innately public, even the front porch of the house seen by the neighbors, but the process is highly personal. A good building relies on meeting the function and emotional needs of our clients. This is why we believe every project has a personality, a design strategy and solution. It’s a building that stands out in your memory, and you can’t quite put your finger on why. It has the same components as all of the others, but it also has a certain atmosphere, a personality.
What we design demonstrates our commitment to our clients and our sense of belonging. Our goal is to know our clients, understanding we make our decisions by acknowledging the different values, goals, and needs of each project. We blend creative design, sustainable practices, and technical competence to deliver architecture with personality.
We love what we do and respect the communities we serve.
The common thread uniting our team’s diverse experience is care for our clients and the outcome of their projects. Our goal is to design beautiful, sustainable buildings from the smallest detail to a master plan.
Commitment, Integrity, Respect,
Our values define who we are, not only with clients or on projects, but with one another.
Do the research.
We explore options by determining the culture, learning the needs, and identifying what a community desires, and knowing the site. This all starts with good questions.
Define a solution.
We explore possibilities, organize functions and form, and focus on the details while orchestrating the big picture.
Bring to life.
By bringing technical experience that is accurate, methodical, and clear, we create long-lasting solutions that account for future flexibility.
We balance creativity with tight timelines and budgets through
in-person and remote collaboration.
