We are seeking energetic architectural professionals who have integrity, are self-starters, possess good communication skills, and who care about the community they serve.  Our current projects include medical research facilities, commercial offices, retail businesses, transportation facilities, and higher education.

• A senior CAD technician knowledgeable in commercial architecture and construction.  Must have good interpersonal skills to work in an open office environment.  American citizenship is required.  Position is full time, in office.  Health and retirement benefits are provided.

• A licensed architect with minimum five years experience in all phases of design and construction of commercial projects.  Must have good communicate skills with staff, clients, and contractors.  American citizenship is required.  Position is full time, in office.  Health and retirement benefits are provided.

 

TKA Architects' office is in downtown Blacksburg, Virginia from which it serves clients throughout southwest Virginia. The region is known for its natural beauty. The Blue Ridge Mountains, wineries, music and street festivals, the Appalachian Trail, Blue Ridge Parkway and abundant hiking, fishing, and camping activities attract people from across the country for a weekend, a week, or a lifetime.

 

TKA supports continuing education.  The firm is active in the National Council of Registration Board's Intern Development Program and assists staff members in preparing for licensure.  Our office structure is open, and we encourage a collaborative work environment.
